Battle of the Bands

Meet at the gates of St. John’s Church at 1 pm. Wear walking shoes. A lot of Ancaster’s Heritage is resting in St John’s Churchyard. Meet at 1:00pm at the churchyard gates and one of Hamilton’s foremost historical authorities will lead you on a walking tour and give you a fascinating rundown on past citizens of Ancaster.

Cemetery Tour

Starting at Dusk, at the Ancaster Community Centre, Jerseyville Road. Volunteers will be collecting donations to support costs.

Symphony of Fire Fireworks

Mark Sunday, June 15th on your calendars as Marshall Memorial  United Church presents The Kenny Munshaw Trio, (Steve Hogg, Roger Travosos and Kenny Munshaw) in Concert.  This will be the first concert in the 2008 Fieldcote Music Series. The concert will highlight original compositions from Kenny's latest album. The Marshall Contemporary Band (Kerry Radigan, Leah Abbey, David Cairney, Jim Keogler, Colin Wu, Andrea McLean and Rick MacKenzie) will make a guest appearance in the concert. www.ancastermusic.org

Tastes of Ancaster Is Back - Bigger Than Ever!!

The Saints of Ancaster return to present their fourth annual Tastes of Ancaster event. This year the event will be held on Thursday June 12th, from 6 pm to 10 pm, at the beautiful Marquis Gardens, 1365 Sandhill Drive, in Ancaster.

Tickets are $40 per person and available for sale at both Rastin's Guardian Pharmacy at the corner of Wilson Street and Sulphur Springs Road and M & M Meat Shops on Wilson Street near Fiddler's Green in Ancaster. Payment may be by cheque or cash.

Those attending the event will be treated to delicious culinary delights from many of the best Ancaster restaurants and an exceptional selection of wines and brews from regional and international wineries and breweries.

Participating area establishments include: The Ancaster Old Mill, The Brassie Pub, Celli's, The Coach & Lantern, Faloney's Restaurant, India Village Restaurant, Marquis Gardens, M & M Meat Shops, My Thai Restaurant, The Opera House and Tea Room and Saving Thyme Catering.
