HARRISON KENNEDY
with the Steve Strongman Band
Returns!
In 1968 Harrison Kennedy joined the Detroit pop group “The Chairmen of the Board” and played top venues (including Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, Soul Train, American Bandstand, and England’s Top of the Pops) doing their hit, “Gimme Me Just A Little More Time.” C.O.T.B. had performances with B.B. King, James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Funkadelics, and more. C.O.T.B. also performed many times at New York's famous Harlem’s Apollo Theatre. Since these golden days, Harrison has embarked on a massively successful solo career.
The 2016 JUNO Award winner, Harrison is firmly established as one of the 21st Century’s foremost Blues singer/songwriters. Harrison’s dynamic vocal gifts have won him worldwide acclaim going all the way back to his 1970’s days as a founding member of the million selling Detroit Soul Super Group the Chairmen of the Board, and are aptly showcased here on our Ancaster stage. LIVING BLUES magazine says it best “Harrison Kennedy is a modern Blues Master of True Substance”.
MORE PERFORMERS COMING!
